26 Days from Surgery

So it's been five months, and I have not seen the surgeon since or talked to him. I know nothing more about the surgery I'm undergoing in less than a month. My pre-op appointment to go over all my restrictions is next Tuesday, and I'm not even seeing the surgeon, just his PA., and it's only scheduled for 20 minutes. I have so many questions! They better give me answers.

All I have learned is from the internet because I love doing research. I took a class in grad school on how to do good research. Speaking of grad school, I'm worried about finishing this class strong because my final is two days before my surgery. I'm so scared that I'm going to be so worried about surgery that I'm going to forget everything about the test. ahhhh.

I have my room all setup and ready to go for recovery. I'll be in the ground-floor guest bedroom again because my bedroom is downstairs, which I won't be physically able to do, and my mom will do better in the queen-size bed anyway. I bought myself a small 10-liter mini fridge to keep drinks cool since it's going to be the middle of July. I have all my clothes ready in a small dresser on top of the nightstand so I can reach them without bending down.

I hopefully have everything I need, but I will find out if there is everything I need else on Tuesday. Then, I will still have time to order it by the 24th. I will go to Omaha the day before to pick up Mom from the airport and stay at the hotel because the check-in is at 6:30 am on the 24th. Then, surgery will start at about 8:30 and go for 8-10 hours if all goes well.
